Here's a picture that should shut a few people up.
Yup, it's Nicole Richie chomping on a burger for goodness' sake.
The small one was out with her refound best mate, one Paris Hilton, when they decided to stop for a snack in a shopping centre.
And it wasn't a scrawny lettuce leaf that either of them were flicking around their plate.
No, Siree. It was a big, fat burger. Ten points all round.
It seems that Paris is a good buddy - not only has she been out on the town with newly single Britney Spears lately, helping her forget her woes...
...But now she's hanging out with Nic again, and encouraging her to fill her face.
And this shot should quieten down the rumours that Nicole doesn't eat, which she and her camp have always denied.
"She's tired of everyone saying 'you don't eat', because she does. She wants to gain weight," a friend of hers recently told People magazine.
And now we have the proof.
