Sure, we accept that a few wrinkles are only to be expected - after all, the man is nearly 34.
And the receding hairline is also another sign of age taking its toll.
But that doesn't stop us being a little sad that one of our pin-ups may well be moving into his next phase.
Perhaps we'll just have to fantasise about having a cuppa with him - like we do Terry Wogan.
