Sadly, it didn't last for some... step forward Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock who split just four months after getting hitched on a yacht in St Tropez.
But on the flip side, there are plenty of sickly-sweet, loved-up stars who've been happy to flaunt their love for all to see...
Think Eva Longoria and Tony Parker who got engaged in November and fellow Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan who said 'yes' to Michael Bolton in March.
Then there were the big, flouncy weddings - think Cheryl Tweedy and Ashley Cole in July and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban who tied the knot in June.
