The X Factor has become somewhat of an institution on our fair isle.
The three bickering judges, a bunch of hopefuls and a bubbly blonde presenter...
But it appears to be time for a change.
Two of the shows main names have been given the chop - in the form of Louis Walsh and host Kate Thornton.
Shock, horror... times are achanging.
But how did Kate and Louis take the bombshell?
Kate said: "Presenting The X Factor these last three years has been fantastic and I truly believe I have taken the show as far as I can.
"I wish the new host every success; it will be an experience they will never forget.
"I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some new programmes with ITV."
Could it be they're putting on a brave face?
Louis, who has become known for his wee run-ins with the other judges, said: "After three incredible years, I have decided to leave The X Factor to completely focus my energy on my day job as an artist manager.
"I will be having the busiest year of my career with Westlife, Shayne Ward and the relaunch of Boyzone.
"I am also looking forward to continuing my work with Simon and The X Factor team managing the stars from this year's series."
A spokeswoman said no new hosts or judges had been lined up yet but they are adapting the show to include four categories of contestants.
They're lowering the age limit to 14 and splitting the 14-25 year olds into girls and boys.
