There has been a slight change of plans down X Factor way...
Do keep up.
It turns out Dermot O'Leary will host the show after all.
It was initially thought Derm had turned down the job because it clashed with filming for Big Brother's Little Brother, but he's now officially on board.
He said: "I was very flattered to be offered the job of hosting such a hugely successful show.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Simon and the team on the kind of show I grew up watching."
Down at The Sun, they reckon Dermot had his arm twisted by a hefty £1m contract...
But all ITV's entertainment boss would tell the paper is:
"We're thrilled to have him on ITV and we're sure he'll keep X Factor the nation's top entertainment show for many years to come."
