Post-divorce, they are regular fodder for reunion speculation.

Now, it seems the pair are having secret meetings to sort things out once and for all.

And we're pleased to say that they're doing it for the kids.

Post-split, the pair were reportedly feuding over Brit's partying and custody of their sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

False rumours that the wannabe rapper had recently gone and got his ex, Shar Jackson, up the duff again couldn't have done anything to weather the storm.

But in a bid to put their differences aside and both be hands-on parents, the pair met in private at Brit's rented Bel Air property.

Kevin FederlineA source told heat magazine: "Kev and Brit discussed their situation patiently and amicably.

"They had a mutual family friend present to monitor and witness everything and they discussed the things that concerned them about their approaches to parenting.

"They agreed that they should both be hands-on with their kids during designated custody periods."

The source was keen to clarify, however, that the meetings were nowt to do with the couple getting back together: "They are definitely not getting back together, but they decided a bitter war was not the right answer and not a healthy environment for their two sons."
