Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy may have been a shock to some.
But it's sure gone down a storm at Nickelodeon.
Following the announcement that Brit's sis is to be a teen mum, more than double the normal amount of viewers tuned in to watch the season finale of Jamie Lynn's Nickelodeon show Zoey 101.
There had been rumours that the children's programme might have to be axed, after news broke that the show's main star was up the duff at the tender age of 16.
But happily, Jamie Lynn's baby announcement appears to have in fact drawn people in.
With 7.3 million viewers tuning in for the end of Zoey 101's third season, Nickelodeon have now confirmed they'll be going ahead with a fourth season to be aired this February.
But then, scandal goes hand in hand with success in the Spears household it seems.
In a week that's seen her stretchered out of her home by emergency services, Britney's record sales have soared as well.
As her domestic upset hit global headlines, Brit's latest single, Piece Of Me, shot up the UK singles chart, jumping from number 46 to 19th place in a week.
Just goes to show, fate is a double-sided sword.
