Kerry Katona Kerry Katona Kerry Katona was forced to deny that she had taken any substances during a chaotic appearance on This Morning today.

The 28-year-old mum slurred her way through an interview with hosts Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton.

Her strange behaviour caused a series of viewers to phone in, raising concerns over her welfare.

Fern and Phil couldn't contain their alarm as Kerry struggled her way through the question and answer session, with Phil finally saying:

"You don't seem right to me, you've got the body sorted but your speech is a bit slurred, how are you feeling?"

A surprised-looking Kerry replied:

"Is it? That's probably because I'm on medication at night-time, which I took at 11.30pm last night.

"I was on a TV show last night, I wasn't talking like this yesterday, probably because it's early in the morning. I've got it with me, it's 150mg of Propiomazine.Kerry Katona Kerry with Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton"

"Now this is going to be made into a huge, big publicity thing," she added. "I'm absolutely fine, all's it is is my medication, I swear to God, I'm absolutely fine."

Kerry then became highly defensive when Fern began asking her about her alcohol intake and previous addictions.

Kerry responded: "I'm allowed to have a drink, aren't I? Does that mean I'm an alcoholic?"

As Fern and Phil rushed to reassure her, a clearly ruffled Kerry commented:

"I thought you were trying to imply that I'm an alcoholic now."

Speaking about the drama, Kerry's rep Max Clifford told Radio 1:

"There's no way she should have been allowed to do that show. Had I been with her, she wouldn't have done.

"I must admit after today and in view of what's gone on over the last couple of months, I am increasingly concerned for her health and happiness."
