Model Sophie Dahl has spoken out about stick-thin celebs.
Soph, who used to be a size 14, reckons skinny models are lying about how they get so slim.
She warns: "Please don't be swayed or thwarted by some glossy fictional food diary that a stick-thin starlet swears she lives by."
But that's not all she has to say on the matter: "Starving is not sexy.
"It is bleeding gums, acrid breath, brittle bones, osteoporosis, infertility and complication. It saps and withers."
Phew.
In the candid interview with You magazine, she admits she was overweight after indulging in a "season of chocolate cake" from the age of 17 to 21.
Sophie, the granddaughter of Roald Dahl, then dropped 15lb and was accused of being too thin in 2003 (right).
She says of the sudden weight loss: "When I broke up with my first proper grown-up boyfriend I did all those things you often do when you break up with someone: I smoked a hundred cigarettes, cried till my eyes were raw and lost 15 neurotic pounds."
Soph, who is engaged to singer Jamie Cullum, has even published her own recipe book.
She says she is now happy with her figure and reckons her current healthy look is all down to "moderation and balance".
