48 of 49Christian Slater was arrested in 1997 for attacking his lover and biting a policeman in the stomach while drinking heavily - he was then sentenced to 90 days in prison.
Shortly after, he admitted he'd been taking cocaine and heroin at the time, so as part of his sentence, he served time in a drug and alcohol rehab clinic and attended a year-long programme on preventing domestic violence.
