Taylor Swift heading to The View yesterdayKanye West has made a personal apology to Taylor Swift.

The rapper called the 19-year-old country star to say sorry for his behaviour, after interrupting her VMA acceptance speech on Sunday.

Taylor told ABC News Radio: "Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology."Kanye West and Taylor Swift

However, the call only came after Taylor mentioned she had not been approached personally by Kanye, 32, who had apologised via Twitter and on the Jay Leno show.

She said on American TV show The View yesterday: "I mean, he has not personally reached out or anything."

She added: "I'm not gonna say I wasn't rattled by it."

It didn't take long for Kanye to take the hint and pick up the phone to Taylor.

Better late than never.
