Well, it seems they've got some competition in the big-brood stakes.

And Tom Cruise is up for the challenge.

Yep, Brangelina is paving the way for large celeb families with six sprogs, but Tom is planning to beat that score.

We just hope his wifey, Katie Holmes, is in the know about his family plans?

He told The Sun: "I want ten children. I love kids.Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Zahara and Maddox

"I feel really fortunate to have the teenagers and a two and a half-year-old. It's a great dynamic."

And he's certainly smitten by his youngest Suri: "She's so charming, she's so beautiful, she's just great," he said.

It seems that Tom's in no doubt he'll be able to cope as a papa of many: "I'm a great parent. I want to be with my kids, and they get to do all the stuff that I wanted to do when I was growing up.

"My own father wasn't there much for me and I want to be a different dad to my kids. My family is the most important thing in my life."

We wish you well on your mission, should Katie choose to accept it.
