But what if you threw a megabucks movie star into the bargain?

That's what happened to one young bride recently.

Yup, there she was in all her white flouncy glory, ready to enter the ancient Pantheon building in Rome...

When all at once she came across Tom Hanks in the midst of filming his new movie Angels And Demons at the entrance to the site.

The groom was waiting, so what to do?

Well, ever the gent, Tom apparently stopped the cameras rolling, cleared the path, and - as an extra sign of goodwill - then escorted the bride in question across the movie set and into the venue.

He even stooped down and picked up her veil to stop it trailing on the pavement.

What a guy.

We can't help but dream that this fairy-tale twist will happen on our wedding days as well.

Though possibly with Brad Pitt as the celeb character instead (sorry, Tom).

Now that really would make for a dream come true.
