Star spies, dodgy pap shots or just plain idle gossip - a plethora of juice awaits, ready to be squeezed at the Showbiz Shed.
But when celebs like Nicole Richie start joking around about their personal lives, our ears really start burning.
Because we all know that sometimes a joke can carry a little bit of truth juice.
Well, at least we hope so in this case.
At a fundraiser for the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation on Monday, Nic and her boyfriend's bro, Benji Madden, addressed rumours that she's pregnant with twins.
"She already has twins," Benji joked to Us magazine.
"I have twins. People popped out of me yesterday," Nic added.
While the Richie-Madden clan clowned around with reporters, we couldn't help but notice Nic's growing bump.
She only announced her second pregnancy with boyfriend Joel Madden last month, and hasn't revealed her due date, but we think her middle's rather on the large side for what is thought to be the early stages of pregnancy.
So when will we find out what Nic's housing inside that tum?
We guess only time will tell, but for the mo we'll be keeping her on bump watch.
