Uma Thurman is a superstar of the big screen.
So we gave it some raising of our eyebrows when we heard this news.
She's scaling down these days...
And has signed up for the small screen.
She's going to star in a BBC Two drama.
Uma's taking to our telly boxes in a stage-play adaptation called My Zinc Bed, where she'll be playing a recovering alcoholic called Elsa.
She'll be in good company, too - her co-stars include Pirates Of The Caribbean star Jonathan Pryce and The Bourne Ultimatum actor Paddy Considine.
The BBC fiction controller Jane Tranter said: "We're delighted that this year plays from David Hare and Caryl Churchill, two of the UK's most prolific and significant playwrights, have found their home on BBC Two and are helping to shine a light on the BBC's overall commitment to the television single."
