The 50-year-old star's being speaking out about La-la Land's ageist attitude.
The Basic Instinct actress has come clean on how work dried up for her in Hollywood as soon as she hit 40.
"I thought... 'I'm fantastic and sexy and amazing,'" Sharon told More magazine.
"(But instead) it was like, 'You have leprosy.' I couldn't get a dress or a job."
Jeepers.
You wouldn't catch us turning down a gorgeous gal like Shaz, but then Hollywood's a funny place.
Luckily for Sharon, the age-related glitch she suffered turned out to be a temporary thing, and she went on to score acclaimed roles in flicks such as Alpha Dog and Broken Flowers.
Phew for that.
