Big Brother has again become embroiled in controversy.
A scandal has broken out following an interview with Wendy Richard.
The ex-EastEnders star, 65, sparked complaints after appearing on spin-off show Big Brother's Little Brother.
Chatting to presenter George Lamb, Wendy made a series of comments about housemate Kathreya Kasisopa based on her ethnic origin, which some viewers deemed to be inappropriate.
TV watchdog Ofcom confirmed that it had received a number of complaints from viewers following the footage, which was aired on Monday night.
"We will be looking into them in due course," a rep for the organisation told the Daily Mirror.
Big Brother sparked global outrage in early 2007, following a bullying episode between Jade Goody and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty in the celebrity version of the show, and housemate Emily Parr was booted out of the house in last summer's show after using inappropriate language.
