While we're all for looking hot, there are times when comfort wins out.

And a trip to the park with the kids is definitely one of them.

While most of us normal folk slip into a pair of runners for a stroll around the park, it seems that Vic cannot bear the thought of leaving her toe-crunchers behind.

We think this could be fast becoming an addiction for Vic, who is never without her skyscraper heels.

She was snapped in these crazy stillies on a Beckham/Cruise family outing to Central Park  in New York yesterday.

While pal Katie Holmes settled for a pair of more practical low-slung boots for the occasion, never-to-be-outdone Posh went for these torturous trotters.

Surely she can't be comfortable? And how does she cope with the sinking into the grass thing?

Seriously Poshers, we know that high heelies balance out the bod, but yours is banging so you have nothing to worry about.

Please, for love of feet, could you just try a trainer or two next time?
