It's just that motherly love stuff - you know what mums are like.

They're your harshest critics but it's all done for love.

So we reckon we'll let Mama Mendes off her judgemental berating.

It seems like she has a problem with Eva's style - but fret not, Eva, we've all been there with our own mums.

Eva told Parade magazine: "Every time I walk the red carpet, she'll say, 'Oh, the hair was a bit too much,' or she'll comment on the shoes.

"I know she's just looking out for my best interests, wanting her daughter to shine."

How very understanding of you, we always just think our mums are interfering.
