It's worth a mahoosive splosh of cash - or so the rumour goes.

We can only guess that by flaunting the sumptuous fashion piece, our always-ambitious Dan is aiming to propel herself upwards within the world of celebs.

However, there is a slight note of confusion over the actual monetary value of the bag.

There  was a rumour of £8000 - but an employee at Fendi told Sky Showbiz  this model of tote with a flower garland came out around three years ago and could be worth only a quarter of that figure, at £2000.

That's unless Dan's bag is made of snakeskin or crocodile skin - which would make it a lot more expensive, around £12000.

So is Dan (or the "new boyfriend" who's said to have bought it for her) really being flash with cash or is it just a bit of a bluff?

Hmm. It'll have to remain one of those great showbiz mystoires, wethinks.
