Dannii Minogue Hold your lugholes wide open, folks.

Some alarming rumours have been doing the rounds.

A rather sensational whisper has it that Dannii Minogue is set to quit The X Factor.

Reports have come through of a feud between Dan and fellow judge Cheryl Cole - with word that Dannii's threatening to leave the show because Cheryl gets more screen time than her.

However, now Dannii herself has come forward to dismiss the chattering as sheer fantasy, telling The Sun: "I'm not jealous. I'm not furious.

"I love being part of The X Factor and we judges are all having so much fun this year.

"I missed two audition days in Birmingham as I was filming in Australia," she continued.Dannii and Cheryl Cole  "So for this reason it may appear to some that I'm missing from the show."

Inside sources from the programme confirmed that Dan is not set to leave - but did add that her people had asked for more shots of the star to be confirmed in the editing process.

And here in the Showbiz Shed we reckon that might just be fair enough.

Pretty as she is, even we've had our fill of slow close-up shots of Cheryl looking variously wistful/ sad/ moved beneath a mass of mascara as contestants perform.
