Chris Martin has opened a can of worms with regards to Gwyneth Paltrow.
He's unwittingly thrown their six-year marriage into the showbiz spotlight.
In an interview with The Sun, the Coldplay front man said he would only be tempted to go solo if "I've been dumped by my wife and I desperately need the money".
Come again?
Joking aside, this passing comment throws up a whole bunch of questions about his and Gwynnie's famously private relationship.
Is Chris trying to say he's with Gwyneth for the money? Surely not.
Is there actually a likelihood that she'll dump him anytime soon? Again, it seems far fetched.
Ok, so he is probably joking around, but Chris ain't famed for his sense of humour - and he also hates talking about his love life, having reportedly put a ban on the topic in Gwynnie's interviews as well as his own.
Moreover, the blasé way in which he makes reference to the break-up is a little weird.
Do we see storms on the high seas of their marriage ahead?
