Rihanna Pamela Anderson can rest easy.

Songbird Rihanna won't be trying to outdo her record number of Playboy magazine covers.

In fact, Ri's all about keeping it covered.

She's told MTV: "My mother would kill me if I posed nude."

Fair enough, but we seem to remember a certain raunchy shot in her Umbrella vid, where she appears to be wearing nothing more than metallic paint.

Luckily though, she has a good explanation for that stint.

She said: "When I did that metallic body paint stuff for my Umbrella video, I didn't do it to show my body.

"I didn't do it for people to like me. I did it because it was a cool visual, unexpected, and it looked hot.

"I have done a lot of photo shoots for magazines but it's always great to be shot for a cover because you know that you are looked at as a fashion icon."

So true, Ri, so true.
