But X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg has spoken out on all things Diana Vickers.

So, should those legions of Eoghan admirers give up hope and accept he's off-limits? 

When asked about the speculation surrounding "Dianagate" - the rumoured flirting and supposed hand-holding - Eoghan admitted he thinks Di's top totty but denied that there's anything romantic going on.

"I know there has been speculation about us. She's the most attractive giEoghan at the X Factor houserl in the house for me but there isn't anything like that going on," he told the Daily Mirror.

"She's my best friend in the competition."

Aww.

But somehow we have a sneaking suspicion the 16-year-old still has little heart flutters for 17-year-old Di, and we also think they would make one very cute couple.

His hopes may be dashed though, after recent pics of Di with a mystery man rumoured to be her beau appeared in the Daily Mail.

That's OK, Eoghan, maybe you can pull those topless tools of persuasion out of the bag to win her back...
