Could anything compare to the drama of last week's X Factor?
Well we couldn't wait to see what it had in store for us.
And it didn't disappoint...
A ghost from X Factor's past came back to the show in the form of Leona Lewis.
She belted out a cracking rendition of Snow Patrol's song Run - complete with full gospel choir. If you missed it you really did miss a musical treat, shame on you.
But back to this year's contestants, and in a turn around from last week's shock result, w
e feel reality telly order has been restored...
After her bout of laryngitis, Diana Vickers was back. Although a little shaky, she did a bang up job and we're glad to see Di doing her thing.
When it came to the crunch this week it was Rachel Hylton and Daniel Evans who found themselves in the bottom two - quite rightly so in our opinion.
In the sing-off, Daniel (thank goodness his hair seems to have been toned down somewhat) sang Bridge Over Troubled Water and Rachel belted out the Mary J Blige version of U2's One.
After the pair sang to save themselves it was down to the judges...
Louis, Cheryl and Simon all voted to send Daniel home, leaving Dannii to heave a sigh of relief at not having to choose between her two acts.
Ultimately, we think Daniel's had a tough ol' time on the show but it was the right decision to send him packing. But we second Dermot O'Leary's parting sentiment to him: "You're a lovely man, I hope you get what you want from this".
