So what's the word on Diana Vickers?

One paper has claimed that it's been "bombarded" with emails and calls asking how ill Diana was that meant she couldn't sing on Saturday night.

On The Xtra Factor, Diana appeared screaming and looking cheery at a bonfire earlier in the week, prompting a Daily Mirror reader to write:

"Diana screeched and yelled without any pain yet sLaura Whitehe couldn't sing in the show. FiXed Factor should be its correct title."

This all comes after the hoo-ha surrounding Laura White being booted on Saturday.

We expect Diana hasn't been very well at all, however with all the furore over Laura's departure some of the public are plain put out.

An X Factor spokesman said: "Diana was under strict doctor's orders not to perform."

We only hope that all this media hype doesn't affect Diana's future performance.

Time to face it, peeps - Diana's still in, Laura's out and we imagine all the critics will still be tuning in on Saturday, just like we will.
